BurnOut Free final Project Meeting - ΑΜΥΜΩΝΗ, Athens, Greece This week, the partners of the BurnOut Free ECI project met for the last time in lead partners @amimoni1993 in Athens, Greece. Partners discussed the final activities of the project, and how they can build on the experience and knowledge gained to create new innovative projects. Partners also got the opportunity to tour Amimoni's new purpose build premises, and purchase some festive decorations co-created by service users. volunteers and staff. 🎯Workshop on the Prevention of Professional Burnout in the Disability Sector With great success, the workshop entitled 'Prevention of Professional Burnout in the Disability Sector' was held on Friday, November 15, 2024, organized by the Early Intervention team of Amimoni at its facilities. This workshop was designed for professionals—including special educators, caregivers, therapists, administrative staff, and managers—who work closely with families of children with disabilities or are engaged in the disability sector more broadly. Participants, representing various social care organizations for individuals with disabilities, had the opportunity to explore practical strategies for managing stress, building mental resilience, and maintaining a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. The workshop took place at CCC’s facilities, located in Nicosia. The primary goal of the workshop was to equip CCC’s personnel with effective practices to prevent burnout while enhancing their personal and professional resilience. Participants gained valuable insights and practical tools for managing workplace stress, building emotional resilience, and fostering personal growth.
